About Archivle

Archivle is a daily guessing game for people who spend too long scrolling resale listings. Every day there's one piece of archive or designer clothing. You see the photos, brand, size and condition, and you have six tries to guess what it's listed for.

Where the items come from

Items are picked from Grailed's Staff Picks, a rotating selection of listings chosen by Grailed's team. The price you're guessing is the seller's asking price on the day the item was added to the game. Prices on Grailed change often, so the live listing may show a different price now, or the item may have sold.

How scoring works

The arrow next to each guess shows whether the real price is higher or lower. Everyone gets the same item each day, and it changes at midnight in your time zone. Practice rounds let you play extra items without affecting your stats.

Why archive prices are hard to guess

Resale prices depend on more than the brand. The season matters: a runway piece from a famous collection can sell for many times the price of the same brand's basics. Condition, size and rarity matter too, and so does whether the item is "deadstock" (never worn, often with tags). Sellers on resale sites set their own prices, so two similar pieces can be listed hundreds of dollars apart. Part of the fun is learning which details push a price up.

Photos and credit

Photos load directly from Grailed and belong to the sellers who took them. Each item credits its seller and links to the original listing. If you're a seller and want your photo removed, open a removal request and it will be taken down.
